Anniversary of the founding of the Tour Operators Association Twak

The tourist center Kuakata has been redesigned. The benches and umbrellas on the beach are now a touch of novelty. Flags of different colors including red, blue and purple are being decorated at different points. This is what the tourism operators have done on the anniversary of the founding of the Tour Operators Association of Quakata Twak.

“Special Day” is celebrated on the beach at 10 am on Wednesday to improve the quality of service for tourists. A colorful procession has come out. It was attended by tourism businessmen, local leaders of tour operators and incoming tourists.

Later in the hall room of an elite residential hotel in Kuakata, Tuak President Ruman Imtiaz Tushar presided over the discussion, which was addressed by Bangladesh Tourism Board Additional Secretary Abu Taher Mohammad Jaber, Toab President Rafiuzzaman, local Awami League president and Kuakata municipal council president Barek Uddin, former mayor of Kuakata municipality Biplob, Tourist Police Kuakata Zone Police Inspector M Mizanur Rahman, President of Hotel Metal Owners Association Shah Alam Hawlader, among others.

The speakers lauded the festival and called upon the tourists to take effective steps to further enhance the quality of services. According to the relevant sources, the traders will celebrate the day through Hadudu games, laughter and various sports events on the beach. The festival will end with a cultural program in the evening. However, the procession attracted the tourists with the culture of the local Rakhine people, biographies of fishermen, boats and nets, agricultural implements and some other professions.

Md. Anwar Hossain Anu, General Secretary of Tour Operators Association of Quakata Twak, said that Kuakata Beach has been decorated with colorful decorations on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Quakata. Besides, all the tourists who come on this day will get 20 to 60 percent discount depending on the type.

Ruman, president of the Tour Operators Association of Kuakata Twak, said the tourism city Kuakata is being offered the highest discounts to tourists by 16 tourism-oriented business associations on the occasion of Twak Special Day, including branding. He said that such an initiative has been taken on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Twak.
