Emergency service phone: Government food aid in Agailjhara

Apurba Lal Sarkar, Barisal: 10 destitute families received government food aid by calling the emergency services at Agailjhara in Barisal. Chairman of the Upazila Parishad Bir Muktijoddha Abdur Reich Serniabat and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abul Hashem. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Meher Nigar Tanu and Upazila Project Implementation Officer were present. Mosharraf Hossain, Upazila Cooperative Officer Kamruzzaman and others. Food aid includes rice, pulses, potatoes, salt, oil and sugar.
In this regard, the Upazila Project Implementation Officer. Mosharraf Hossain told reporters that 10 needy families from different unions of the upazila called the emergency number 333 and asked for food aid. Food aid was distributed among them on Tuesday afternoon. They are 3 people in Bakal Union, 5 people in Gaila Union, 1 person in Bagdha Union and 1 person in Ratipur Union. Each of them has been provided rice, pulses, oil, salt and sugar. Halima Begum, who received food aid, said she was happy to receive government food aid. The recipients said that with the help of this food, the whole family can go for a few days.
