A state-of-the-art model mosque is being constructed at Kalapara in Patuakhali. It will be built on 40 percent of the land. In this, 900 worshipers will be able to offer prayers in Jamaat at once. The site for the construction of the mosque in front of the Matsa Bhaban at the Upazila Parishad premises at a cost of Taka 11 crore 92 lakh has been finalized. On Monday afternoon, the contractor visited the site of the model mosque.
