Speaker pays homage to Bangabandhu

Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his 46th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day.
She paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road No 32 in the capital on Sunday (August 15).
The JS Speaker also stood in solemn silence for some time, showing profound respect to the great leader and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage and prayed for the eternal peace of their departed souls.
