In the country, 287 people have been infected with dengue

There is a new record of hospitalization in one day due to dengue in the country. In 24 hours, 26 more dengue patients have been admitted in different government and private hospitals of the country. Of these, 269 have been admitted in Dhaka. This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Monday (August 2) afternoon.

According to the report, 26 people were admitted to the hospital in one day from 8 am on August 1 to 6 am on August 2. Of these, 279 were admitted in Dhaka and 8 were admitted outside Dhaka.

At present, the total number of dengue patients admitted in various government and private hospitals in the country stands at 97. Of these, 940 are currently admitted in 41 government and private hospitals in Dhaka. At present 36 people are admitted in other departments.

From January 1 this year to August 2 this year, 3,182 people have been admitted to the hospital. Of them, 2,200 have been discharged from the hospital.
