Wine-yaba-lead recovered from Piassar’s home

Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) police recovered foreign liquor, yaba and lead from the house of model Faria Mahbub Piyasa in Baridhara of Gulshan Police Station. He was arrested in the incident. On Sunday (August 1) night, a team of the Gulshan Division of the Detective Police conducted a raid on the house No. 3, Road No. 9, Baridhara.

During the operation, DB seized four packets of yaba from the table of Piyasar’s house. However, it has not been confirmed yet how many tablets are inside. Nine bottles of foreign liquor were also recovered from the cabinets of Piassar’s kitchen. At one point in the operation, Piasar opened the fridge and found lead-making raw materials and several e-cigarettes in an ice cream box.

Piasa was kept in a room during the expedition. He was accompanied by two female DB officers. At the end of the operation, the female members picked up Piasa in a microbus and took her to the DB office. Mohidul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADC) of the DMP’s Serious Crime Investigation Division, said, “The raid was carried out on the basis of certain specific allegations.” He has been detained.
