Model Piasa was arrested by DB police

DB police have arrested model Piasa, who has been discussed in various incidents at different times. The Cyber ​​Crime Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police raided his Baridhara home around 10pm on Sunday (August 1). A police source said that he was arrested at that time.

DB Joint Commissioner Haroon Aur Rashid confirmed the matter to Ittefaq and said that Piyasar has been arrested on charges of blackmailing and extorting money. Police recovered alcohol, yaba and lead from his house during the raid. Apart from Piyasa, DB police are conducting an operation in Mohammadpur to arrest another model. Piyasa came to discuss various incidents at different times. In May 2016, two university students were raped at the Raintree Hotel in Banani. His name came to the fore in that incident.

Piyasa was also named in the latest case after the body of a young woman named Mosarat Jahan Munia was recovered from an elite flat in Gulshan. Piyasa, the ex-wife of Safat Ahmed, son of Dildar Ahmed, the captain of Apon Jewelers. She was divorced from Safat a few days before the incident at the Raintree Hotel.
