Corona: Another 231 deaths in 24 hours

Bangladesh has recorded 231 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths and 14,844 positive cases in the past 24 hours, the highest number in a single day, said Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine daily statement on Sunday.
The official tally showed the virus killed 20,916 people and infected 12,64,328 so far, it added. The current positivity rate is 29.97 percent. A total of 49,529 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours.
