Export-oriented factories set to reopen from Sunday

The government has decided to reopen export-oriented factories from August 1 (Sunday). The decision was taken in response to repeated demands from traders, according to high-level government sources. It was said in a circular signed by Rezaul Islam, Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet Division on Friday afternoon.
The circular state that considering the overall situation, all export-oriented industries and factories, including readymade garments, have been kept out of the purview of the ban from 6 am on August 1. It is learned that this decision has been taken due to various logical reasons related to import and export. However, strict restrictions will remain enact for other cases.
