Bangladesh logs 239 more deaths, 15271 new cases

Bangladesh logged 239 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 20,255 across the country so far. Besides, 15,271 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 12,26,253 in the country.
A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Thursday (July 29). Alongside, as many as 14,336 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 10, 50,220 the release said.
