OMS has started operations at the tourist center Kuakata. Kuakata Municipal Mayor Anwar Hawlader inaugurated the program at 10 am on Tuesday amid hostile weather.
Due to the ongoing lockdown, 5 kg of flour at Tk 18 and 5 kg of rice at Tk 30 will be distributed among the low-income people at three points every day. According to the sources, the distribution of flour among 600 people and rice among 900 people will continue from 9 am to 5 pm at the initiative of the Food Department.
Kuakata Municipal Mayor Md. Anwar Hawlader said the activities will be carried out through three dealers of the municipality.
