Nasim’s condition critical, says his son

The condition of Awami League leader and former Health Minister Mohammed Nasim who suffered a stroke while undergoing treatment for coronavirus is critical, said his son Tanvir Shakil Joy on Saturday. While talking to reporters, he said his father is now in on ventilation at the intensive care unit of a private hospital and doctors will take the further decision after 72 hours.
Tanvir also sought blessings of the country’s people for Nasim’s recovery. The condition of the ruling party leader deteriorated after he suffered a stroke early Friday. However, he underwent a successful surgery on Friday. Nasim was admitted to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on June 1 with blood pressure problem. Later, he was diagnosed with coronavirus on that day.
