Seven more cops recover from coronavirus in Kishoreganj

Seven more members of Bhirab Police Station in Kishoreganj have recovered from coronavirus. They returned home from hospitals on Sunday noon. Those made recovery are constables Abdus Salamd, 45, Kabir, 35, Jamal Uddin, 35, Tanjil Ahmed, 24, Aminul Islam, 28, Abdur Rahim, 30, and Sonia Akhter, 26. Earlier, two sub-inspectors made recovery from the coronavirus.
On April 17, Samad, Kabir and Jamal were detected with coronavirus. Samad was admitted to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital the following day. He was discharged from the hospital after he tested negative twice on April 23 and 28. Kabir and Jamal were admitted to Bhairab Trauma Hospital. Tanjil, Aminul, Rahim and Sonia were diagnosed with coronavirus on April 19. They were kept in isolation. Their test came negative on April 25 and 29.
All of the seven policemen will remain at their respective residences for the next 15 days. With this, a total of 29 people have so far made recovery from Covid-19 in the district, said civil surgeon Dr Mujibur Rahman. The district has so far confirmed 184 coronavirus cases.
