The three sitting members of the burnt houses in Kurukpata in Aliqdam district of Hillijela, distributed cash, food and clothes to the members of the Aliqdam Senjon Zone, Lt Col Saif Shamim, PSC. He visited the damaged houses at 10 am on Friday and gave them assistance.
The three Marma families’ houses in Kurukpata were completely burnt down in thursday’s fire. The three Marma families that have been left in the middle are the poor. The zone commander learned that the houses were being renovated and distributed cash, food and clothing. Among others were Aliqdam Zone Lieutenant Mir Mahdi, Kurukpata UP Chairman Kratpong Moro, Zone JCIO Ikram, Camp Commander Abdul Hai and Market Trader John M. Pramukh.
The zone commander told the audience that the army always tried to stay on the side of the people in the town. He directed the up-and-coming UP chairman to cooperate with the overall government during the reconstruction of the damaged houses. He said the army will always be ready to serve the poor people, including these helpless families.
