Dismissed for organizing a bullfight in the lockdown

A Union Council (UP) member has been dismissed for his public life-threatening actions by organizing bull fights in Rona. And a UP Chairman who was suspended for going abroad without permission. The seven UP Chairman and three members who were suspended on Thursday (April 23) on various charges including relief are also present. A separate notification was issued from the local government department on Thursday.

Shah Al Shafi Ansari, chairman of the RHANPUR UP Chairman of Champaignabad, has gone abroad without permission to stay in the area during the outbreak of the Corona virus and has been appointed as a member of the Gwandia UP AUP in Netrakona district. The president of the Islamic Republic of Bangladesh has been working to protect the public from the spread of the virus by organizing bull fights in violation of government guidelines.

They were suspended under Section 34 (1) of the Local Government (Union Council) Act, 2009. At the same time, the response to the letter was requested to be sent to the local government department through the district administrator concerned within 10 working days of the letter being issued on the notice of different reasons why they would not be removed from their posts.
