Bangladesh COVID-19 death toll crosses 100 as 10 people died of the disease and 492 more tested positive for novel coronavirus infection across Bangladesh in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths from the novel virus rose to 101 and the number of infected patients rose to 2,948.
Nasima Sultana, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services, revealed the information while addressing an online press briefing at the directorate on Monday afternoon. Nasima said that a total of 10 patients recovered from the disease and were released from the hospital in the last 24 hours and with this a total of 85 patients recovered from the disease. A total of 2,779 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, she added.
