RMG factories’ holiday extended to April 25
Readymade garment (RMG) factories would remain closed until April 25 in line with extended nationwide general holidays to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the country, reports BSS. Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) today in a joint statement announced the decision immediately after the government’s move of extending the general holidays for the fourth time.
