China assures full support to Corona: Health Minister

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek has said that China has assured Bangladesh of all kinds of assistance to combat Corona. Bangladesh helped China when China was suffering from corona. Now China is also trying to stand side by side in Bangladesh’s coronary time. This friendly attitude of China towards Bangladesh is truly commendable. China has assured Bangladesh of assistance through doctors, nurses and medical devices.

Health Minister Zahid Malek MP said this after an urgent meeting with Chinese Ambassador Li Zhiming to address the coronavirus at Baridhara’s own residence on Sunday evening. Health Secretary Asadul Islam, Director General of the Department of Health Dr. Abul Kalam Azad was present.

During the bilateral talks, the Health Minister highlighted the initiatives taken in the country to combat Corona. Health Minister informed that adequate beds, kit and PPE are being prepared in Dhaka and outside Dhaka. Chinese Ambassador Li Zheming praised Bangladesh’s action in combating Corona, and assured full support to Bangladesh on behalf of the Chinese government.
